Clarence Mallari designed the Croydon Wall Sconce, which he describes as an uncomplicated piece, even though the inspiration behind the gold wall sconce has a complex story. “Believe it or not, this wall sconce was inspired by the waterlily,” he explains. “The stems of the flower in nature, which are not visible above water, serve as the arms and the shades are in the shape of the flowers.
